Resident Director

Liam is delighted to return to Mary Poppins after appearing in the original Australian company. Most recently, Liam was Resident Director and Choreographer for the Australian tour of Come From Away.

Liam toured the world extensively from 2014-2019 with Australian and International productions of Les Misérables. Following the Australian tour, he became Resident Director for the Dubai production, travelled to São Paulo as Assistant Director and Choreographer for the Brazilian production and was Associate Choreographer for the Japanese production. Liam toured the United States and Canada as Resident Director for the 2017/18 North American Tour of Les Misérables and was Deputy Associate Director for the rehearsal of the 2019/20 UK Tour.

Other creative credits include Co-Producer for Out From Under, Director and Choreographer for Catch Me If You Can at CQU, Assistant Choreographer for Shakespeare in Love at Melbourne Theatre Company, Director for And Tell Sad Stories of the Deaths of Queens at NIDA and Director for the Les Misérables 30th Anniversary Gala in Tokyo.

Liam’s extensive performance credits include Mary Poppins, Les Misérables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Pirates of Penzance, Gypsy, Bye Bye Birdie, Grease - The Arena Spectacular, Sunset Boulevard, Saturday Night, Dusty, Cats, Shout! and High School Musical - Live On Stage.

Liam completed a Master of Fine Arts (Directing) at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2020. As a strong advocate for improved mental health practices within the entertainment industry, Liam helped found the Equity Wellness Committee in 2016, serving as co-chair for four years while also holding a position on MEAA’s Federal Council.
